Bo Corbett, an Animal Science major from Lake Park, chose ABAC for the great small town atmosphere that the college offers.
“The best part about attending ABAC is the small community feel of the campus,” Corbett said.  “ I never go a day without seeing someone I know or hearing my name called from a friendly face.  My professors know me by my first name, and I am familiar with most of my classmates.”
As the current Georgia FFA state president, Corbett has stayed on the go since starting classes last fall.  He is also a very involved member of the Collegiate FFA chapter at ABAC.
“As a very active student on campus, I have had to polish my balancing abilities with my class time, extracurricular activities, work, and time for myself,” Corbett said. “Although it has been a challenge, I have started to achieve many things that I know will benefit me in the future.”
After graduating from ABAC, he plans to attend a large research university and pursue his career in animal science. His favorite quote is by Ralph Waldo Emerson “Our Greatest Glory Is In Not Never Failing, But Rising Up Every Time We Fail”.
